Creative Art (Ages 6-9)

Art Studio with Kate, Starting Sept. 4

Tuesday afternoons, ages 6-9, 4:30-6pm, 8 week series.

This offering is intended to be offered continuously through the school year for the optimum benefit of developing artistic skills and mastery of techniques. Practice makes perfect!

This series of classes will introduce many art making methods and techniques for young artists to explore. Drawing, painting, printmaking, paper arts and sculpture will fill these studio intensive workshops. Kate will teach, demonstrate and provide art exercises that will engage the creative brain and develop much valued artistic skills. The focus of this series is to provide guidance and instruction, but also to encourage each student to develop their own ‘creative voice’, and the confidence to utilize their creative talents.
